Research Plan
A format is suggested for comparison of the proposed technology to existing technologies. Use of this format is not required, however, it represents a concise way to summarize advantages of the proposed technology. The column headings are suggestions, which the applicant should modify to demonstrate familiarity with competing technologies, and to highlight performance goals of the proposed technology.
The data shown in the table were taken from public Web sites in August 2007; no attempt has been made to verify these data. The applicant should name specific benchmark technologies, and should include his or her best estimates of the actual performance of those technologies at the time of the grant application.
The formatted file below is available online for supplemental information to the RFAs listed on this page. This document requires the use of either MS-Excel or an Excel viewer.
