Postdoctoral Fellowships in Developmental Genetics and Stem Cell Biology

One postdoctoral position is available in the Developmental Genetics Section of intramural research program of the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI).

The section is interested in understanding the genetic basis of human birth defects and diseases, particularly focused on the roles of the Wnt and Hedgehog signaling pathways in regulating mammalian embryonic development, adult tissue homeostasis and stem cell self renewal and differentiation. The postdoctoral position is fully funded with very generous salary and other benefits. Candidates must have obtained Ph.D. or M.D. within the last three years with advanced training and demonstrated scientific accomplishment in molecular genetics or cell biology or developmental biology. Candidates must be self-motivated and creative.
