Charting a course for genomic medicine from base pairs to bedside
On February 10, 2011, NHGRI launched a new strategic plan — Charting a course for genomic medicine from base pairs to bedside — published in the journal Nature, articulating a new vision for the future of genomics research and describing the path towards an era of genomic medicine.
A Vision for the Future of Genomics Research
In April 2003, the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) published a landmark scientific report that describes the future of the field of genomics, and the role the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), parts of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other government agencies, will play in enabling that future.
