Research Funding Opportunities

To apprise the community of research areas that support that mission, NHGRI periodically publishes funding opportunities in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. For your convenience, we have also listed the funding opportunities related to NHGRI on this webpage. NHGRI welcomes innovative investigator-initiated applications and encourages investigators with novel ideas to discuss potential applications with program staff during the concept development stage of the application. If you are considering applying for a Program Announcement with special review (PAR), a Request for Applications (RFA), or an application that exceeds $500K in direct cost in any one year, we encourage you to review the Guidance to Potential Applicants for NHGRI Support.
